“Namouche” connotes gypsy jazz, but that’s misleading. There are a few tracks here that are gypsy influenced, but it’s mostly post-bop, standard small group-style jazz, starting with the first track. It’s all solid, professionally delivered, and works very well indeed.
As to the license, I shy away from “No Derivatives” licenses, which prevent you from even posting songs you like to Youtube, as a video including the song is a derivative work. But this album is so good, it must be shared, restrictive license or no.
